If you are looking for a light read during your break, I suggest the fiction by Japanese writer, Toshikazu Kawaguchi. Before the coffee gets cold intertwines four stories that take place inside a special café where people can travel in time. Now, there are certain rules they must follow which limit the character's wishes.
The four parts are "The Lovers", "Husband and Wife", "The Sisters" and "Mother and Child". You can imagine what each part anticipates and so I would not call this book very surprising but, if you are looking to entertain yourself with a short book, this could be it.
Before the coffee gets cold will get you thinking about loss, opportunities and the choices we make, how they shapes our lives and what would have happened if...?
